It’s easy to solve crimes when you have all of the answers, but for the New Ravenwood Cold Case Unit, it’s easy to solve crimes when you already know the future. Twelve years ago, New Ravenwood faced an unusual crime spree where ten major players in the criminal underground were murdered. With the case seeming unsolvable, Detectives Magnum and Anderson were given an amazing opportunity: a detailed ledger filled with all of the crimes that have been committed (and will be committed) in New Ravenwood.
Twelve years later a new batch of murders has begun. Johnny Magnum has been assigned to the case with a new partner, Detective Andrea Hammer, but this time, the crime is not mentioned in the ledger.
